Giveaway Monday: Custom UPrinting Business Cards & Brochures
The days of dirty snow and waterproof boots are finally behind us now, so to celebrate, I’m hosting another giveaway! (High Five for Free Stuff!) This giveaway comes courtesy of UPrinting, who contacted me a couple of weeks ago and was curious to see if my readers would be interested in receiving some free custom business cards and brochures. For any student looking to apply for a summer job, business cards can definitely give you an edge, especially if they’re not the generic ones your school prints for you. And if you’re in marketing or looking to host an event, I’m sure you’re already aware of the exposure that some eye-catching brochures can bring.
Uprinting is not exactly your regular Joe loose leaf library printing quality either. Their blue and green logo has been around for more than twenty years and each project is done personally by experts. Moreover, you are given a free PDF draft of your product. Unlike most print companies, they do not just render and re-size your images to give you an ‘idea’ of what your finished product will look like; they have their people personally work on it as if they’ve already been paid! In my case, they even called me long distance to double check some finer details and even fixed some of my own blunders! I haven’t received my own business cards yet but needless to say, I am very impressed so far and will give everyone an update when it comes.

awesome contest! with these cards i would be able to promote myself as a visual artist and designer, and then eventually take over the world and turn it into a totalitarian ruled world where ponies are the main form of transportation and spaghetti is used as currency…seriously tho, just the first part

If i were to win the business card, i will be able to portray myself to be a very business savy person. Through these business cards, i will be able to network with people that i meet from day to day and keep in contact to allow myself to have a better network in order to provide myself with more chances in life. i will be able to approach people in more corporate places with the chance to show myself through a simple card that can provide others the ability to later reconnect and form a connection to help broaden each of our network in this ever so big world.

With these business cards i would update my company from free business cards with a logo printed on the back and a typo in the email address, to something that expresses my true creativity. It would help launch my jewelry design business onto the path it should be going. It is something (along with building a website) that i have been looking into but have just been unable to afford.
